Krista Clements Orlan is an emerging servant leader.  Over the last 40 years of her life she has worked in a wide variety of fields, usually finding herself in leadership positions.  In the performing arts world she has worked professionally on stage, as an artistic director, and as an arts administrator.  She and her husband owned a computer repair business, for which she managed the marketing and handled the bookkeeping.  Krista has been involved in network marketing businesses, worked extensively as an advocate for housing justice and sustainable agriculture, as well as filling a variety of pastoral ministry roles within the Catholic communities she is a part.

Krista holds a Master of Arts degree in Servant Leadership from Viterbo University.  Her colloquium project studied the assets offered by religious congregations to neighborhood communities, and she is currently seeking sponsors to continue and expand the research.  She is a covenant affiliate of the Franciscan Sisters of Perpetual Adoration, and is in the discernment process for lifelong affiliation with the community.  Krista is amazed that she and her husband Steve have been together for over 20 years.  She is also proud to be mom to 12 year old Sam, who inspires (and confounds) her with his brilliance every day.
